A Lasting Impression

I am a lover of art.I am a lover of romance.  I am a lover of books. Which is what made this book a very good read for me. Set in beautiful, historic Belmont Mansion in Nashville, the book never lacks for beautiful description or character development. Tamera Alexander paints a beautiful, well written picture of life in post civil war Belmont. The characters are genuine and memorable. You really care for, and believe in them. I loved the romance between Claire and Sutton. It never felt forced, and you couldn't help rooting for them.  And  I, along with Adelicia Acklen, am a lover of all things French, so that was quite nice.

Until We Reach Home is a beautiful story of three sisters. Each of their struggles and journeys are quite their own. And they each have a beautiful love story. The story of Sofie and Ludwig touched me the most. It is one of the simplest, but most beautiful love stories in modern print. You can hear the beautiful violin music as he plays to her. The story just seems to come alive.
